Agra is known to the world, mostly because of this breathtakingly beautiful monument. Taj Mahal is counted among the Seven Wonders of the World and one of UNESCO's world heritages. It was constructed in 1630 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The emperor built Taj Mahal in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It took over 22 years to build with around 20,000 workers engaged in it. The best time to visit Taj Mahal is during sunset or sunrise. It is so because of the changing shades of the sky embellish the view of the monument. There are no entry charges to visit Taj Mahal.
