AGRA FORT:

Agra Fort is another UNESCO world heritage site in Agra. It is a beautiful fort made of red sandstone. It is said to be one of the most magnificent Mughal fortresses in India. Mughal emperor Akbar built Agra Fort in 1573. The Fort was later turned into a palace by Akbar's son Shah Jahan. It took eight-years and more than four thousand employees to build the Fort. You can cover Agra Fort after visiting the Taj Mahal, as both the monuments are at a distance of 2.5 KM. You can visit Agra Fort anytime between 6 A.M to 6 P.M. The entry ticket for the Fort ranges from 35 rupees to 550 rupees. If you visit the Fort in the evening, you can enjoy a light and sound show.
